…but hot flashes? jeeze. i think for men, it’s more about a sort of existential crisis and a hard evaluation of your youth and how it has been spent and/or mis-spent. so it’s an intellectual and emotional ‘coming of age’. as uncomfortable as it perhaps may be, we can put forth that indeed one gains wisdom like this.

Sleep with your head near an open window. If you live in a cold climate, throw on some blankets but leave your head near the open window. It stops the hot flashes and you can sleep.
